What ages is the Youth Academy for?
The Youth Academy is for boys and girls aged 7 to 12. For the 2026/27 season, that means children born in 2019 or before.
Does my child need to have played rugby before?
No. Most children join having never played. Our coaches teach the basics through games and drills, so every child can join in from their first session.
When and where does the Youth Academy train?
Youth training is on Tuesdays from 18:30 to 19:30 and Thursdays from 18:00 to 19:00 at St. Aloysius College Pitch, Triq il-Ferrovija l-Qadima, Birkirkara. The 2026/27 season starts on 13 October 2026.
How do I sign my child up?

How much does the Youth Academy cost?
Your child's first sessions are free, so they can try rugby before you commit. After that, the season fee is €250, which includes a Stompers Rugby Academy shirt.
Is there anything for older players?
Yes. Teenagers aged 16 and over can join our free beginners course, which bridges new players into our senior men's and women's squads.
